The Military Tote
Made entirely from vintage fabric, this tote is constructed from an authentic 1940s U.S. military duffle bag cut from 100% cotton canvas. The side decals, handles, and structural elements are also sourced from original vintage military duffle bags, preserving the character and markings that made these pieces iconic.
The classic military duffle is a sought-after artifact in the vintage world—beautiful in its simplicity, with a rugged canvas body and drawstring cinch. But while the design served soldiers well in its time, the cinched opening can make organizing and carrying everyday cargo less practical today.
So we reimagined it.
By adapting one of history’s most enduring bag designs—the tote—we’ve given this vintage fabric a second life. The result keeps the patina, markings, and spirit of the original military gear while introducing the structure and accessibility of a modern carry.
