A one-of-one Scarf Brothers sample celebrating the beauty of repair rather than replacement.
Built from a classic blue plaid cotton flannel, this prototype features oversized hand-applied reinforcement patches inspired by generations of workwear that was maintained, repaired, and passed down instead of discarded. The contrasting buffalo plaid patches intentionally stand apart from the original fabric, creating a visual record of the garment's imagined history.
Originally developed as a sample, this piece was never put into production, making it a unique artifact from the Scarf Brothers archive. Equal parts functional work shirt and wearable design study, it embodies the philosophy that wear tells a story—and repairs become part of that story.
A true one-of-one piece where craftsmanship and character take precedence over perfection.
